Nishihira Endorses Urbi

Dear New Haven School Community…

I wanted to share some very good and exciting news regarding our endorsed candidate, Pat Urbi for Area 1.

Lance Nishihira, current sitting Board Trustee for Area 1, has announced his sole support for Pat Urbi as the “Best choice and my choice“ to assume my seat as Trustee for Area 1. He is urging all to vote for Pat.

We want to commend Mr. Nishihara for his full support for Pat as Area 1 Trustee. As I have stated before, Pat is by far the most qualified and most experienced candidate in this Area 1 election race. Mr. Nishihara is just confirmed by his work and knowledge of Board responsibilities. Pat is the best and only choice.

However various messages from other candidates speak of education rhetoric without any experience in developing or implementing educational change in a classroom or a school site and provide a long list of endorsements. Endorsements from people who have no daily contact with your students or the work we do. Here in New Haven while Pat’s endorsements are for people that do in fact serve this community as Teachers, School Secretaries, Psychologists. Paraprofessional’s, Classroom Aides, Maintenance workers, Custodians, Food Servers and the list goes on.

We all have confidence in what Pat can do and will continue to do as an elected Trustee.
